In this assignment, we were learning how to turn heads. I animated a cat turning his head. This assignment was a little tricky due to closed eyes and making the character act more human-like.

An introduction

Hello! My name is Vanessa, and I am a junior at the University of Tampa. I am majoring in film production, and I hope to pursue in a career in the film industry. I'm looking forward to this semester and meeting you all. My favorite movies are Goodfellas, Spider-Man Into the Spiderverse, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Spirited Away. I do enjoy painting, and even though I'm not good at it, I still enjoy it. I do like to quote a lot of movies and tv shows. Ted Lasso, How I Met Your Mother, Means Girls, and Bob's Burger, is what I quote the most. I would like to make an animation movie one day. As someone who enjoys watching anime, I would like to make an anime film.

Bouncing ball

Here is a video of a bouncing ball I've been working on for my 2D Animation class. I tried my best to make it creative and quirky. I did like the colors I used for this assignment. My "monster" at the end of the video wasn't the best-looking drawing, but I wanted to add some quirk to it. Hopefully, my next assignment will look better! Edit: I've updated the bouncing ball video. It's honestly a lot better than the original.

Timing and Spacing

In class, we talked about timing and spacing. There are different types of timing and spacing. I've attached a video of what we learned about in class. It's no masterpiece but it was still fun, and still a learning process.
